Brilliant Forts

Blanket fort?  How about a Zeppelin blanket fort?  It's a great innovation I came across in the Internets.  You take your typical queen size bedsheet, seal everything except a "cave mouth" that fits into an electric fan and you're ready to play.

It's resource-saving too--when normally you need a lot of chairs and tables to place the sheets on, all you need is one giant sheet and get an electric fan to inflate it.  Also, this way you won't need to worry about your kid suffocating in that blanket fort.
